Komentaryos/Notes
The recorded voice you are hearing is Rachel Bortnick (Izmir), longtime Ladino language activist and founder of Ladinokomunitá.
This domain is based on speech from Israel "Izzet" Bana, a speaker from Istanbul. Izzet is the director of the Sephardic youth choir "Las Estreyikas de Estambol" (the little stars of Istanbul). It was edited by Rachel Bortnick (Izmir), Karen Gerşon Şarhon (Istanbul), and Carlos Yebra Lopez.
Keres i tu?
This is one way to ask "Do you also want some?", and uses a cool feature that distinguishes Ladino from Peninsular/Latin American Spanish. In Ladino, you can use i ("and") to mean "also." It can go before a noun or pronoun, not just between two nouns to join them together. Another example: if someone has incorrectly assumed you only have cats as pets, you can say, "Tengo i perros!" (I also have dogs!).
The other way to ask "Do you also want some?" is "Tu keres tambien?" Both are equally correct.
